Schlotzsky's started in 1971 and today they are an international sandwich franchise restaurant chain with locations in 35 states and three foreign countries. Since 2011, Schlotzsky’s has remodeled and upgraded their locations with a fun, unique look that includes circle-themed design and photography. The Schlotzsky’s Greer location in Upstate South Carolina is locally owned and has embraced the parent design changes both architecturally, as well as graphically. To help with their graphical efforts, I created a layout design for their Promotional Postcard, Business Cards, Drive Through Menu, Indoor Salad Menu, and finally a Tablecloth. All layouts follow the same color scheme and graphical stylings of the new Schlotzsky’s Logo. The menus were designed with alternating background colors for each menu items, while the details/descriptions shared the same background color. Each menu (e.g. Lite Side, Favorites, and Salads) has its own background color to indicate to the customer that they are choosing from a different category of food. This allows the reader to quickly survey the menu choices while having clear separation of items. (All work was designed while employed with Velocity Printing).
